Art Masters returns for its third instalment at The Portside on Thursday October 17th and Art Vancouver is thrilled to launch an exclusive Instagram Contest to find a new and emerging artist to take up the eight and final spot in the competition.
To Enter:
Post an artwork on your professional Instagram account.
Caption the image ‘TRICK’ or ‘TREAT’
Post your piece between September 20th and October 7th, 2019. Tag @artvancouver and use the hashtag #ArtMastersAV2019 in the caption.
Send an email to Bea (bea@artvancouver.net) with your full name, portfolio (link) and Instagram handle (@xxxx) - note that if the email does not contain this information it will not be possible to find your post and therefore, enter the competition.
The selected artist will be contacted via email on Wednesday October 9th. Please be aware that you will have 24h to accept.
What is Art Masters?
8 Artists, 1 Venue, 1 Theme, 1 Hour and 1 (MYSTERY) Box of supplies.
Art Masters is an art competition in which professional artists can show their creative skills in a new and exciting environment. Artists will be given a theme in advance and their task is to express this theme with just one hour on the clock.
This years’ theme: DAY OF THE DEAD
There will be one winner and that winner will receive a prize. Following the hour-long contest, the audience will choose the winner by judging creativity and originality with the given theme, quality of the artistic composition, and overall impression of the art. In addition to this, all competition paintings will go to silent auction. Silent auction will start at $100.
