Best way to pause paper delivery for vacation?

We are heading out of town for a few weeks next month and I really don't want a stack of newspapers sitting at the end of my driveway. I tried to find a "vacation hold" button on the subscriber portal, but I want to make sure the physical delivery actually stops on the correct date. Has anyone had success setting this up online, or is it safer to speak with a representative to confirm the schedule?

Setting up a temporary stop is a smart move for home security, and most local papers are very accommodating about holding your issues until you get back. I would highly suggest calling the press of atlantic city phone number directly to speak with someone in the circulation department just to be 100% sure the dates are recorded correctly in their system. They can usually set it up so that your delivery resumes the very day you return, and in many cases, they can even credit those missed days toward your next billing cycle. It’s a great way to save a few dollars while ensuring your porch stays clear while you're away.
