About the event
If you’ve ever wanted to try painting on glass – this class is for you!
Art Nouveau, an international art movement of the 1890’s-1910’s, is famous for its symmetrical asymmetry, soft melting lines and balanced colours. Incredibly beautiful and brave, this new style fascinated millions of people and inspired thousands of artists through the ages and still does today.
During this workshop we will travel more than 100 years back in time and create paintings on glass using modern painting technologies. You will be offered a choice of patterns. We will use special liners from Neva Palette, mix our colours and paint with special glass paints. This fabulous glass painting or faux stained glass piece will be ready to go home with you at the end of the class, though it may still require more dry time. You can use it in your interior as a regular painting, or you can place it next to a window or a lamp for an even more magnificent look.
