Panel Discussion: Meet Our Speakers

Updated: Apr 22, 2019

At this year’s Art Vancouver event, we will be having a panel discussion regarding our overarching theme of “Uniting Nations Through Art”. We believe that a great way to exemplify this theme is by bringing together individuals that cover various aspects within the arts community. Therefore, the panelists are:

Jace Kim

Jace was born and raised in Korea up until the age of 15. He now runs art studios in Burnaby and Surrey providing art lessons, freelancing and executing his craftsmanship as a visual artist.

Luiza Brenner

Luiza was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She has worked in prominent commercial art galleries in São Paulo, New York City, and Los Angeles. She currently is the manager and curator for the South Main Gallery.

Yun-Jou Chang

Yun-Jou is a writer, translator, project administrator, governance professional, and community engagement specialist. She is currently the Director of Centre A, a Vancouver international centre for contemporary Asian art, and is serving as a chair for Cinevolution Media Arts Society.

Karen Lorena Parker

Karen Lorena Parker FeminineWild collection of political portraits makes notable women larger than life. Her character and environment portraits connect you with her endless study of beauty in the world. This international artist has exhibited in Avenches, Dubai, Bahrain, Abudhabi, ArtVancouver, with collections in Basel, Seattle, South Africa.
